Made of exotic Satine Rubane with satin pewter finish handles. Due to the natural red color, this wood is often referred to as blood wood or cardinal wood. Satine Rubane is a beautifully grained and very dense South American, non-endangered hardwood used in fine museum quality furniture. This tray is slightly heavy. Felt lining on exterior bottom. This wood is becoming very hard to find causing the tray to be made in very small quantities. Made in the USA by Stone Mango Designs.
